Apply for Phase Two of the ExpressionEngine 2.0 Beta

Expresionengine has been around for just over half a decade now and despite looking into it on many occaisions, for many different projects, I have never really felt the need to stray from the Textpattern path for the majority of projects (I have been known to create the odd Wordpress site here and there).

Elislabs announced the release of Expressionengine 2.0 for mid 2008, and then delayed it to a point later that year. With finally taking the stance that well actually, ExpressionEngine 2.0 will be released when its done!

After watching the EE 2.0 sneak peak I was properly impressed. But up until now I was playing the waiting game, just like everyone else.

Ellislabs are now offering the chance to be part of Phase Two of the ExpressionEngine 2.0 Beta, anyone can apply, but not all will get an invite. Applicants are being taken until October 2nd, 3pm (PT) and anyone who is successful will find out shortly after the closing date.

So for now the waiting game continues, but hopefully, not for long!
